Why do people hate the Pretty Girls video?

yeah I don't get it.. the video is "stupid" but it was supposed to be like fun and comedy.. 

it's high budget and well done.. it's amazing for what it's supposed to be, I love it (minus the samsung phone scene)

Honestly? If it wasn't for the cringy, lame scene with Iggy when they are on the car it would be OK

Other than that she looks 40 in some shots, the outfits aren't any good etc

I do love the live performance though, so at least it gave us that!

the only good thing about Pretty Girls is her vocals on it. very old school and well edited. i also love her ad-libs on it.

I loved the song since it leaked. I listened to it like 60 times the day it dropped on iTunes. And I still love the video. It's fun and not meant to be taken so seriously.

It's tacky AF, Britney's look is messy and she doesn't look really good and Iggy is annoying AF, and that "acting" scene  That's literally her worst video ever with MM, it's super embarrassing

Yes the reference makes sense, but it's not a very popular movie for her general audience to grasp.

I ******* love the movie and have since I was a kid, but I agree moost people won't get it

I think it would have worked better if they comitted to the 80's look all the way through.. That way most people would know it's all just a caricature of movies back then..

the song was definitely not worth a lead single from her but it was a cool track to have fun to and the video just showcases that. I love the different looks and sets, the choreo is fine -though the editing could have showcased it better-, the only flaw is her awful lipstick lbr
