What is the point of quoting me if you are gonna say "..." What the ****. And I don't know how Why should I be sad doesn't sound personal to you. But that's the most personal anyone who isn't Taylor Swift or Adele will get. I personally prefer songs I can relate to, and 1-2 once in a while is enough for me. No matter how much everyone wants to deny Britney's involvement with Glory I'm sure she chose most of the songs because you can tell she really likes them. Hence DYWCO that's her son's favorite.

I wrote that because I was not sure what to say. Why should I be sad might be a little personal, I won't deny that, but I was saying that Britney is not a singer that sings personal songs. Her songs are to have fun to and get you in a good mood. There's nothing bad about it and I wasn't bashing her for it :awks:

about the album, that's a different story.

They censored out a ten second mention of the conservatorship in an interview, there's no way in hell she'd be able to put an entire song out about it

Yes, they are. How is Why Should I Be Sad not personal? Or Piece of Me? Or Mona Lisa, for that matter? Or any of the ones I listed slated off of what was meant to be The Original Doll?

And plenty of people she's worked with have said she won't take a ton of credit even if she does write more than the song claims. No, she hasn't written an entire song by herself in a while, but so what? The fact is, she does have other personal songs. Yes, you're right, usually they're uplifting/not deep, etc. But they're still there.

I wasn't talking about this thread alone.

Was I negative anywhere else? I might speak stuff that most people don't agree but because I know that Britney isn't this goddess that some people here proclaim her to be. 

I can speak my mind without being negative or insulting anyone, can't I? I don't think I ever was/did.

Other than the "tied up" part, I don't see the connection.

The countdown isn't her team. The team wants to avoid her erupting because... you know... bad for sales. It's the media that wants her to breakdown so they have something juicy to write about.

But Britney just wants to ****. At least, that's the message in the song for me.

I get your point and everyone else's but if you don't write your own song about your life, it can't be personal. The only personal Britney songs that I consider are Everytime and Someday. I don't downvote people for disagreeing with me but I think you don't necessarily need to write a song for it to have a personal meaning to you. I myself think of lots of Britney songs as personal because of what they remind me of.
