You guys are confusing simple with low budget... Music videos shouldn't be visually able to tell how much was spent on it... at a major celebrity level anyways. A majority of the cost goes to talent, crew, equipment, and then licensing or renting a location to film at. You can spend all the money in the world, but you can't buy a good story/song/director/concept.

No, but they're:

- one location
- outdoors in low traffic areas
- tiny crew
- little in the way of cranes, dollies or jib rentals
- no choreography
- zero wardrobe changes

Apart from renting nice lenses, and a fee for a director, what other big costs would be associated with them?
