Isn't it kinda weird that we only got that one photo from desert for "Make me" single cover?

Like why even bother to organize the whole shoot, to travel there, choose costume etc. just for one picture? Unless it's actually shooted in the studio with background, but it doesn't look like that's the case.

Well, that would explain everything, but it doesn't look like that's the case to me. If it is, then that person who edited it is really professional.

I'm pretty sure it is. I'm a photographer but that doesn't mean anything because I don't do professional shots but my gut said it's a back drop from the first time I saw it.

Because David Lachapelle didn't just direct the original MM video, he photographed her for the single and the album covers. When they decided it doesn't work, he took his pictures with him.

That one pic was allegedly apart of a full album theme shot by David Lachapelle that got scrapped after the MM video fiasco. All this according to the internet. I haven't read anything concrete

This single cover killed me. It's definitely one of her best AND one of the strangest one at the same time. When I first saw it, I was like: it's definitely a screenshot of a scene from music video, like she did with IWG. Cause thematically it didn't fit the actual song. But nothing really clicked with it - even the original video didn't have any desert scenes, so I guess it was just a random pic?

It's way too perfect to be in the desert. Probably a backdrop of an actual place though
