Blackout Singles?

Say Brit was In The Zone Britney when Blackout was released but still with all the craziness around and BO was a huge success... Who many singles do you think would have been released and what would those songs be?

Im going to say they would have wanted about 5 like they did for Britney and Baby and wanted for Femme Fatale!

Gimme More + Lil Kim remix (Perfect lead tho BTI would've worked too)

POM (It couldn't have been a more perfect song during that time)

Break The Ice + the remix with Fabolous she did

Why Should I Be Sad (Break up Anthem of the yr and radio would've loved this song and the GP)

Toy Soldier with Perfect Lover as a B side (PL that sound was huge then and the song is so catchy and radio friendly and Toy Soldier is the perfect single to follow Why Should I Be Sad and is classic Britney tyGP would've loved it)

This era would've easily topped In The Zone and I think earned her another Grammy award by this time they were coming around and easier to buy I mean win! LOL

Why Should I Be Sad is probably one of her most personal songs I really don't understand the hate for it, plus it ends the album perfectly :lessons:

Britney would've invented the visual album trend because all of Blackout is single worthy and each song would have a video :shameless: Tea only :angietea:

If I were Larry I would've kept the Blackout era going a bit longer instead of putting her in studio for Circus. That way she could mellow out before the big comeback

Gimme More - release Lil Kim remix to hip hop stations

POM

Break the Ice - Keep the animated video, fabulous remix to hip hop stations and do a live action remix video

Radar - radio single, video comes out week before announcement of Circus era.

No 2007 VMAs, instead do Blackout medley at 2008

Womanizer would come out when the album did, Valentines Day release for album

That approach probably would have helped solve a lot of her personal problems at the time, too.

They were in such a rush to improve her image at the time that they threw her back to work WAY too fast...and threw Blackout under the bus while they were at it.

It's only her best break up song and SLAYS Everytime ... The lyrics, the chorus, the production... I love her and Pharrell together something EPIC always comes when they're together making music

I agree Blackout should have been re released as a EP with Circus, Womanizer, Blur, KTL, UY, Mannequin, Trouble and Quicksand .... That would have been perfect cause most of Circus is filled with fillers!

Also coming from ITZ/BO it was a huge 360 ...They shouldn't have abandoned her best album so fast.

It may not be ICONIC like GM but it's definitely one of her memorable hits like BTI ..... I'm still upset over Outrageous that would have been ICONIC too she was on fire that era!!!

The studio work may have been therapeutic for her -- she clearly loves recording new material. The same goes for learning new choreo.

It's just the rest -- the promo and the tour, in particular. It was too much, too soon.
