You say its her best single "since never", so you consider "Pretty Girls" better? Sorry, I thought you said best "LEAD" single. Amm well, so that, I may say since WB. Perfume is a great mellow balad but I wasn't very excited for its MV. I love the song though, and I don't hate Pretty girls, I hate its pointless video. The song wasn't that bad it's just something I wouldn't like to hear/watch from Brit but that's it. Link to comment

ViciousVixen
imo nooooooo i don't care for mm. honestly, truly, its just not iconic. She's had better ballads, and mid tempos. And then we kiss would have killed mm if it were a contender. Link to comment

Its music video was the only chance to be a hit in Britney's career but well, you know... It's like MATM is not a bad song but having Toxic it wasn't the best idea. Make me is not bad but easily "Better" or "Do you wanna come over" were the most appropriate tracks to open this new era. yeah, opening the era with a filler! 1 hour ago, PokemonSpears said: Having all the Glory tracks, Make Me... is the obvious second single, á la Lucky or something. I think even Tom's Diner is stronger. Make Me... is a really beautiful song, but her best? I don't think so. It's definitely better than PG, Perfume, but it's not better than WB. If I have to rank this decade's singles: Till the World Ends I Wanna Go Work ***** Tom's Diner Scream & Shout / Ooh La La / Make Me... Hold It Against Me Criminal Pretty Girls Scream & Shout (Remix) Perfume K Link to comment
IRunAway
I'd say it's the best single since Piece of Me, but before Make Me, I would have said Hold It Against Me was her best since POM. So for me it goes: Piece of Me Make Me... Hold It Against Me (Haha, all the 'ME's) Link to comment

ovoxo
It's one of my favorite lead singles ever. I would say since HIAM, but in terms of melody one of her best imo. It sets the mood for the album but also doesn't sound like any other track Link to comment
sibode
Honestly, I really like HIAM and WB, but yes... The music in MM is awesome and everytime I hear the "can tell you WWWWANT ME" part it gives me the chill! It's so EMOTIONAL!!!! Link to comment
Froot
Musicaly, since Gimme More or Womanizer. Promo-wise since Womanizer I guess Link to comment
everybodygoesdown
I agree it's the best single since Work *****, which was imo flawless. Funny thing is this is a great album but there isn't like a song that I think would have made a very good "instant hit" lead single. If anything I would have chosen Invitation as a lead.
