Godney'sSweetCheeks
Adele has said, 'The people with the best voices, they always smoke. I've given up smoking and I'm convinced that's made my voice weaker,' I agree with her. Britney's voice is amazing on Glory and she's a smoker Receipts: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3803767/Adele-complains-decision-quit-smoking-left-weaker-vocal-abilities.html Link to comment
saicis
Adele's voice cracks quite a lot when singing live and she's gone off key more than once. Not dissing...! she's got a great voice, but it's nothing like Whitney's for example. Before Britney smoked she sang better, period. Link to comment

Applejack
It gives them an edge but I think it makes the voice lose overall quality tbh She's right if what you prioritizes in a voice is the edge and uniqueness of it Link to comment

Surely one a day couldn't do much harm? I don't want her to quit completely though because it seems to be something she enjoys and it probably calms her nerves. Link to comment

It sounds ridiculous that a book could help you stop smoking but believe me, it does! I'll never touch a cigarette again. You should read it (you can smoke while you read it lol) Link to comment
TheVirtuoso
Adele is being dumb lol, smoking makes the voice of a singer too hoarse and raspy, it KILLS their falsetto/head voice and damages their belts a lot. It helps the lower notes though. Link to comment
BritBreakitDown20
lmao yes our gurl sounds great on Glory but i admit that her voice is not that good as it once was when she was younger and smoking took a toll on it Link to comment
