Miley Cyrus graces the cover of Elle magazine.



In her Q&A with the mag, Cyrus opens up about her disgust of walking red carpets and advising her team on The Voice to embody Bernie Sanders is revealing. Oh, and Britney, *****.

She'll advise her contestants on 'The Voice' to "Be Bernie Sanders"
"…I don't want this to come off the wrong way, but I'm going to tell my contestants: Be Bernie Sanders. Be the person people want and love. Don't worry about the masses. That's how you make a memorable moment. Let people talk about it."

She'll never do a red carpet again
"[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red? Because I'm 'important'? Because I'm 'famous'? That's not how I roll. It's like a skit—it's like Zoolander."

She just wants Britney to be happy
ELLE asked, do you have a relationship with Britney? "[My manager Adam Leber] works with her; we've stayed close because of that. She's a little distant in her world. I just want Britney to be happy. Every time she puts out new music, I'm like, 'Is that what she wants to be doing? Or does she just want to chill?' She's looking so good right now, and looking happy."

She doesn't know how to use Snapchat and Liam is obsessed with Pokémon Go…
Is she on Snapchat, ELLE asked? "No. I want to be. I don't know how to use it. I feel like I'll be an old lady that's too held back, because I don't keep up with it. I'm not on Pokémon Go. [This morning] Liam woke up and tried to go to the car wash because it was a—what do you call it?—PokéSpot. Like, "Got to go find them and catch them all! Ahh!"…

I think she echoes the thought of some in the fanbase, too, tbh! Everyone wants her to be happy and she deserves it unconditionally.

It seems, though, that people are always questioning whether she's making music because she's forced to by her team/conservatorship or if she's genuinely passionate about it. With Glory it seems that she's very passionate about it obviously... And while it's always a treasure to see Britney in interviews or candids from being out and about, I know some don't feel as connected with her. Like her team filters her from 2008 onward. That's what I interpreted from the "distant" comment.

It's sweet to see Miley wanting the best for Britney's heart and spirit! I love when other artists respect our humble queen; after all, our humble queen really does promote a lot of other artists in interviews or social media.
