Her team deserves to be dragged to be honest.  What kind of flop management?  Knee taps, arm flapping choreo..They had an opportunity for another #1 album, a great single with a popping video, and a great album cover. :donewithit: What are they smoking?!  they need to get to work!  :shameless:

May I know what you're talking about? They had one job: releasing it on the week with the least competition. Since they choose the 26th they might as well have pushed it one week. It's their damn job to try to get the album to #1. Stop being #WithThem and defending incompetent morons. :britstare:

They can't push the date once they choose one and like you said it should have been the release date from the start.

RCA really are complete idiots honestly I mean they picked the most big release packed week of the past like 2 months I mean there must be a way for industry insiders to find out who's releasing when and Barbara has announced her album way ahead of time and they picked a really bad time to release BJ too! Jive would never tbh, I miss them so much they were so much smarter with release dates and did more in terms of advertising!

Jive.. She was their biggest star they were very invested in her

She gave RCA the $$ with Femme Fatale but they didn't even care to stop BJ from happening and help her take a better direction. They mishandled that era and now they're paying her dust it's disgusting.

FF was released by Jive

I actually think RCA is partially to blame for why BJ sucks, I think it started out really personal....remember she said HOT was the first song done for the project but then they told Will.I.Am they wanted a Dance album and we got a rushed dated mess!
