Oh please from 1999 till 2004 everyone was trying to be Britney, from 2005 till present everyone is trying to beat Britney. Britney was, is and will always be the standard. Since day one people get compared to her. I don't think use fans really realise what a big deal she really is cause we get blinded by charts and candids.

Only real competition was at the start because she was entering the industry, after that she just kept winning

Nobody can compete with her, even most of the gp thinking the Beyoncé performance was better than Britney's, all the media is talking about Britney and all the celebs treating her as a legend, other artists can be more successful than her nowdays but no one will have her legend and icon status, bye
