This has been annoying me all day... so I've come to the conclusion that:

0:23 sounds like a fastened version of 1:10 of

 

The pre-chorus sounds like Stranger in Moscow ( a bit)

 

 

 

 

3:10 (the yoouu-ahh, yoou-ahh)  reminds me of the 'Always be arounddd' backing vocals from Robyn's 'Do You Know What It Takes'

It really sounds familiar... can't put my hands on it though. Maybe Britney has the key to unlocking the 90's?
