I agree. Imagine Xtina singing something like Toxic or Gimme More ( which we heard her sad assed attempt at a GM rip off with "Not Myself Tonight) it wouldn't be nearly as iconic without Britney's signature vocals. 

Im sick of people not giving her credit for her vocals. She wouldn't be as successful as she is if people didn't find her voice pleasant to listen to.

slant is notoriously hard on pop albums. from the review it sounded like they were a little frustrated that they actually enjoyed the album.
