Review: Britney Spears’ Confidence Returns in “Do You Wanna Come Over?”

Tonight Britney Spears released “Do You Wanna Come Over?” – the second promo single to be released off her forthcoming album, ‘Glory’, and, well…Britney is officially back! She never really left, of course, but I think it’s safe to say that this song solidifies the true return of Britney to her prime. Not only does she deliver great vocals on the track, but you can also hear the confidence in her voice – something that was seriously lacking from her last three albums ‘Circus’, ‘Femme Fatale’ and ‘Britney Jean’.

The spark that once made Britney the biggest pop act in the world has taken her over once again with “Do You Wanna Come Over?”, except this time that spark is igniting into a blazing fire. “Do You Wanna Come Over?” is classic Britney but with a much more modern flare. It’s as though she finally remembered she’s Britney Spears again, and made the rest of us remember why we loved her to begin with!
