Clumsy production.

I'm disappointed in how Clumsy turned out. The production is poor. With all the good EDM out I can't imagine why they'd go so generic. It sounds like an unfinished demo. The break down in the chorus doesn't go anywhere. I'm here for Make Me and Private Show tyle music on this album. I say take a break from EDM. I do love the lyrics and vocals on Clumsy though.

it's just an album filler so its ok. kinda like shattered glass on circus. they're both short songs. clumsy needed a good middle 8 or something but i personally like the song.

 

i do get what you mean about it feeling like a demo

Agree with the part that the song could have been longer but no for poor production. Production-wise "Clumsy" sounds a lot better than anything from Backdoor Juanita (except Work Btch)

I have no idea about production or whatever, because unlike most exhalers, who are experts in music production () I am not. 

But I have tried to like the song hard for the last couple of days and... NADA!, which, in spanish means, NOTHING! It just does not stick in my head.

All my non Britney fan friends (they like her, but not like I do) love all three songs released so far. They are really hard to please theater people, so to me if they like it the GP will too  

Clumsy grew on me, I love it now. Can't get enough of it. And the oops bit is instantly iconic.

I love EDM and I'd love for her music to go that direction (and more than just the radio friendly EDM) but I agree about the production being pretty generic. Everything else on the album will probably be fire, though.

I love Clumsy and my friends reacted more positively to it than they did to Make Me, which a lot of them thought was kind of boring. A lot of people remarked that even though they didn't think the song was amazing, they found it interesting and listenable because it's something different for her.

I actually don't think it's that generic tbh and the song has grown on me a lot, it's just a fun/goofy album filler similar to Mmm Papi on Circus. The Buzz tracks are all gonna be songs that will never be singles but are just fun album cuts because they're gonna save all the real show stoppers for then the full album is released and for singles

its silly how a lot of you act like you are big shot music producers.. anyway, i enjoy the song. i like it.
