Rant (be warned)

Okay, I feel like I've been saying the same thing in all these threads so I decided to post my own to say my peace, so I hate the video for make me. I think it's sloppy, rushed, and generic. Yes she looks happy, yes she looks stunning, BUT you don't have to watch a music video to come to that conclusion. You can just click to her Instagram and it's there it's apparent. A music video is the time to come out of your shell ,play a character. Britney always brings it , especially for the lead single. Now although I LOVE what I've seen from the original cut, I was never opposed to her doing a reshoot. But if you're going to reshoot then have the decency to come up with a good concept, be willing to have a budget, take the time to bring us something with quality, be creative , be open. Another thing, everyone saying that other artist release boring or basic videos and don't get hate, first thing , Britney is held to a higher standard , most of her videos are iconic. Second and more importantly, take adeles send my love, Ariana's dangerous woman, Justin's sorry, Selena's good for you, while a lot of people may think that the videos are boring or basic , they all fit in with the aesthetic of the songs. It's all about the aesthetics. The aesthetic of make me the song and make me the reshoot are polar opposite. The song is dark, it's ****, it's empowering. The video is rushed, lighthearted and is almost similar to a spoof. It upsets me when some of you blindly support it just because her name is attached to it. She can do better , she's done better. Now I have my opinion and you all have yours but I just felt like I need to put my feelings on the situation out there now I will continue to stream and bump to the audio. Much love B-army!:kisses2all:

Then why even click on it or comment ? I clearly stated this was a rant and put a warning with the title:xcuseme:

As long as you support her music, good for you.

I agree. I've only seen the official video twice. Normally when there's a new Britney video, I play it all day!

Now this has nothing to do with my preconceived ideas about the original video. I just find the official video mediocre. At least Pretty Girls had a fun story and a dance breakdown. At least Perfume had a certain look and feel. With Make Me, it's just so bland. Almost like a video of a nobody with no budget or even a student project. It is so NOT like a Britney video, which usually has something magnetic about it.

At least the music is good so I prefer to play the official audio in Youtube.

Completely agree I will support the song because it's quality music but the video is another story...
