What Could Be Done (Make Me Video)

Let's start off with saying that Britney looks beautiful in the new video. There are some parts that I think is cute, but overall it's not her best video, especially as a lead video like Baby One More Time, Oops, Slave, Me Against the Music, Work *****, Hold it Against Me and even Gimme More. I think many of us can agree with that.

I think we should talk about why fans are disappointed. This new album has already started off with a not so good start. Make Me was scheduled for a performance, audio and video release in May. As we all know, that didn't happen because of technical problems. What ever that means. Finally we get the audio for Make Me in July, but only because it was leaking. 

Here is my problem. Her team doesn't confirm or deny anything. I remember when her website had a bullshit section for tabloids and rumors. It's been a horrible nightmare ever since as they don't tell her fans anything. 

The original video was iconic. It was random, but the shots were beautiful, there was dancing, the outfits were outrageous, and there were dancers. The official video has barely any dancing, a lot of shaking her ***, and G-Eazy is broadcasted on screens. And I guess that's why I'm not crazy about the video. It's more about looking at the screens then anything else.

Honestly, for the video that's out now, it should've included dancing scenes like the original. The video could've centered around her and the guys dancing, and then other shots while they were rehearsing. And then G-Eazy could've came into the audition room and then did his rap scene. I'm not saying this is better than the original music video, but it would've been better than what is out now. And the fact that they have the album cover from the music video is ridiculous. 

Anyway, once again they cut something out that was really good. I don't get it. But the communication is terrible, and they make no efforts to show they care about how the fans feel. I'm sick of it. You may not agree with what I say, but it doesn't make me wrong. This is not a bashing topic. It's just my feelings, along with other fans, and I think people should understand that before they bash other members here.

I totally agree with you! That video could have been better in so many ways. I still have hope that the original video will be released. As for this era, I think her team is going to do it right. They have given us some nice surprises, even though what's happening around Make Me is extremely messy.
