Greatest Hits: My Prerogative is the first greatest hits album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on November 9, 2004 through Jive Records and Zomba Recording. The album was released in two different editions, standard and limited, with the latter containing a bonus disc with remixes. A video compilation of the same title, featuring twenty of Spears' music videos, was released to accompany the songs. The album includes three new tracks: a cover of Bobby Brown's My Prerogative, Do Somethin' and I've Just Begun (Having My Fun), which was previously included on the international editions of Spears' fifth video album Britney Spears: In the Zone (2004).

I love this moment / "era" SO much!! That compilation is stunning, you press play and it's pure pop magic, the energy and production level never drops, it feels like a marathon. It's the blueprint for ANY popstar, ever. She has SO many hits! And the new songs are impeccable. I just wish she would have released a video for "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)" (Pokemon, spell it right, we already talked about this! :lessons_preaching_telling_hand_smack:) and that would have made it perfect with already two great and fun music videos.

I always hated (and never understood) the fact / rumor? that they used a body double and just plastered her face on it. I mean, that's obviously not her body, yet this memory is blurry in my mind, what really happened about that? We never saw any other pictures of that shoot. The only good thing is that that image is truly ICONIC. The graphic design is also good, and I love the silver (especially on print; btw I have the limited edition, which was printed on carton and it has texture!), but it's another occasion in which there are TWO "official" designs going around (the other being the cover of "In The Zone", with the wider picture of Britney instead of only her face), meaning they used two different fonts for the title of the record, which I hate... Her team should have pulled a Beyoncé in both occasions and make the whole internet take down those preliminary designs!!

Oh and I always loved the DVD with ALL of her videos!! And the design to browse them was innovative at the time, and it still looks cool. Yeah I LOVE THIS ERA.
