    16 June 2024

This event begins 06/16/2020 and repeats every year forever

On June 16 we shall remember one of the best album releases of the past decade and my fav record of 2017: Lorde's pop masterpiece Melodrama.

It received rave reviews by critics and fans, and even got nominated for Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards (losing to Bruno Mars' 24K Magic). In my opinion this album really shows Lorde's talent and ability as a songwriter, composer and vocalist (shoutout to Writer in the Dark). Jack Antonoff produced with her almost every song on the tracklist and I love the fact that it sounds so cohesive. A vibrant, liberating, relatable breakup album filled with well produced pop gems.

Also, June 16 is the date when the Femme Fatale Tour started off in Sacramento (CA) in 2011  (and also my birthday, yas).
