  1. There are so many to choose from! I’d love to know what movies you watch during the holidays 🎄 Let me know in the comments 🤍
  2. Mean Girls was the last movie I watched and it never gets old for me
  3. does anyone keep up with jamie lee curtis socials? she’s like tagging lindsay in a bunch of freaky friday revivals… i want this so bad 🥹
  4. Is Ana De Armas coming for that Golden Globe? The official “Blonde” synopsis from Netflix reads: “[The film] boldly reimagines the life of one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons, Marilyn Monroe. From her volatile childhood as Norma Jeane, through her rise to stardom and romantic entanglements, ‘Blonde’ blurs the lines of fact and fiction to explore the widening split between her public and private selves.” “Blonde” releases globally on Netflix September 23. Watch the first footage and see new images from the film below. UPDATE: First full official trailer has been released:
  5. OMG it looks so good and hilarious Who else is excited for this iconic trio to make their comeback? Mary on the Roombas is sending me
  6. I’d have to say Pretty Woman!!!! Did you know that this scene was not part of the script? He surprised her and they kept it in the movie. How cute! What’s your pick? You can only pick one
  7. Who here loved the Bring It On movies back in the day? Sit back, relax and Bring It On! 1) Does this movie even need an introduction? It’s in my opinion the best one of the franchise! Also it’s iconic that Kirsten Dunts and Gabrielle Union were in it! They are the queens of Bring It On! 2) Next we have Bring It On Again. It was also a great film however the first one is better. I found the routines in this one awesome and the comedic timing in it was also great. 3) The third Bring It On gave us cheesy pop culture and that iconic awkward crumping scene. I also love that Solange Knowles and Hayden Panettiere were in this! 4) The fourth film of the franchise was the beginning of the end and became evident that the films were getting worse. This one gave me nothing but a few laughs and in my opinion is the worst one of the bunch. 5) The last film of the franchise, Bring it On: Fight To The Finish was fun and cute but again, nothing compares to the first two. I feel that this one was better than the fourth and I love Christina Milian! Which one do you like the most? I’m about to watch the first one
  8. Sooooooo I recently went to go see the new Thor movie...and it's not bad, but I think it's more of a drama film with action elements.... But anyways spoiler alert... There is a scene with Mary j Blige family affair in it, and ever since she mentioned tru star I feel like she's just tainted to me. But anyways go see thor and the black phone...that movie was really good
  9. https://variety.com/2022/film/news/kate-winslet-avatar-2-photos-1235307147/amp/ She’s one of the greatest actresses out there and I’m so happy to see her join this film! It’s going to be so good 💙
  10. What are the saddest TV/movie scenes you have ever watched? Did they make you cry at the time? Did they catch you off-guard? Do you struggle to watch them even today? Mine are below: 1. Death of Yvonne Atkins (Bad Girls) After her feud with Prison Officer Jim Fenner reaches boiling point, Yvonne Atkins only has two options - kill him before he kills her, or escape. Yvonne knows of a tunnel deep underground beneath the prison which leads to the outside world. Unbeknownst to Yvonne, this tunnel was blocked off years prior and doesn't lead anywhere. Hot on her trail, Fenner follows Yvonne down to the tunnel. As soon as she thinks she is about to reach freedom, he locks her in. He leaves her deep underground to starve/suffocate to death where no one can hear her cries for help. 2. Death of Kaz Proctor (Wentworth) After years of anger and resentment following 53xual abuse at the hands of her father, Kaz Proctor finally starts to heal and come to terms with all of the decisions that she has made which lead her to prison. For the first time in years, her future starts to look bright. However, just as the healing process begins and she starts looking forward to the rest of her life, Kaz is brutally ********. Prison shows really do just hit different.
  11. I am not sure whether Exhale in general likes watching movies, but "Everything Everywhere All At Once" is a must-see in the cinema. It is maximalist style at its best. I do not want to spoil too much because it is best to go in blind, but this movie is incredibly entertaining, funny, but heartfelt at the same time. The way it tackles the multiverse theme is way more bat**** and ambitious than any 200 million budget Marvel film, despite its low budget. Expect one of the weirdest, but fun movies you have seen. This is the best cinematic experience I've had in a very very long time. And the movie is still in cinemas in US. So please check it out if you want to have fun and laugh at the ridiculousness of the movie. It's got action, romance, comedy, family, thriller, Michelle Yeoh from Crazy Rich Asians, Jamie Lee Curtis (who's never been this funny), etc. I cannot wait to read everyone's thoughts on this movie. Despite being dumped with a tragic release date, the industry is going crazy about this movie, bringing this movie into next year's Oscar conversation. It's currently the third highest-rated movie on Letterboxd (4.6/5), 8.8/10 on IMDb, 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 82/100 on Metacritic.
  12. After 13 years, it’s finally happening! I’m so excited and can’t wait to go to the theatres and watch it. Here’s the trailer to give you a sneak peek. Enjoy! The release date is December 16th, 2022
  13. The highly anticipated movie "Don't Look Up", is directed by Academy Award winner Adam McKay and features an A-list ensemble of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet and Ariana Grande. It is now released on Netflix for Christmas. The movie is a satirical comedy about a meteor hitting Earth and how the characters react to the news. Ariana previously performed the song "Just Look Up" with Kid Cudi on "The Voice"
  14. Do you have any not LGBTQ+ movies but liked by the LGBTQ+ community to suggest ? I was thinking about movies like Mean Girl or Miss Congeniality ?
  15. It’s an Amazon Prime original movie and is about a woman who takes advantage of people by becoming their court approved legal guardian. Sounds familiar right? This woman would act in court as if she was for helping others but in reality she’s a shark who’s only looking for their money and control. Sounds familiar right? She then sells their homes, cars, places them in facilities, keeps their friends and families away from them, only allows approved visits and gives them medication to alter their personalities. Sounds familiar right? I won’t give away any spoilers but I couldn’t help but think about our queen and her story. I can’t believe this even happens and the sad reality is that Britney’s case is just proof of how much conservatorship abuse happens in the world. I would recommend watching it but don’t think you won’t connect the similarities to Britney’s situation and everything that’s happening in this movie! #endconservatorshipabuse
  16. I was watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, and his mask made of skin, made me think of Ben Platt's in the trailer for Dear Evan Hansen film. So I googled to see when it's coming out and was SHOCKED that it was released September 24, 2021 and not surprised, it FLOPPED! I know the film got a lot of push back because they cast a 27 year old Platt to play 17 year old Evan and from the trailer his face looked awful. The CGI they used to make him appear younger make him look un-human, like he was wearing a mask made of skin. Ben also claims the movie probably wouldn't exist without him! "People like to have something to say that's negative, regardless of what it is. With [this], it's something that I can't control at all, which is my age, then bring it on," he said. "I'm glad it's not about my performance or my voice or anything that actually matters." Platt went on to explain more about the film, pointing out the movie — which is produced by his father, Marc Platt — would likely not have been made had he not been involved. "The reaction is largely from people that don't understand the context of the piece," Ben said. "The fact that I created the role and workshopped it for 3 years, and did all of the out-of-town performances, and originated it on Broadway, and received the accolades that I did... and also not really understanding that were I not to do the movie, it probably wouldn't get made." He added that, while he'd like to continuously defend himself online, he would rather just let people watch the film themselves. "My defensive response is to go on Twitter and be like, "Eff you guys, you don't even know that this wouldn't exist without me,' " Ben said. "And of course, that's not true entirely and that's not my place to say." Did any of you watch the film?
  17. Hello, guys I know it’s summer and probably most of you are traveling, visiting new places and party & bullshet, but I’m really looking for movies/documentaries/tv shows recommendations to watch and I’m probably not the only one. I recently have watched: Gone Girl Sectet Window The Social Dilmma Elite Feel free to post whatever you want, I’m a freak too!
  18. Who has seen the movie, as an origin story I found it to be awful .. more a cross between zoolander 2 a d Alice in wonderland 2 rather than joker meets devil's wears Prada.
  19. Tell me about it For me 7 SINS or actually its called Se7en it was just so unfriendly to watch, to say at least. even the lighting of this movie was the most bleak i have seen all the time, if i remember it right
  20. 1. Grave Of The Fireflies - the realism of this movie is unsettling. This movie had left me broke for more than two weeks, so I don't really recommend to watch this especially if you have depression or emotionally not capable to handle the sad scenes. 2. Hereditary - less jump-scares but the build up is so terrifying and disturbing. The moment I finished the film, I felt like my reality is in a different dimension. 3. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle - the original release in 1995 has became a special part of my childhood, and this adaptation ruins in. This movie (franchise actually) is the sole definition of Hollywood industry milking cash in exchange of substance-less material.
  21. 3 years ago I saw this live and I was just mesmerized. I do not currently live in the US and Hulu is not available here. I was wondering if anyone knows how can I watch the movie? I really, really want to watch it! ADVERTISING Skip Ads by × Thanks in advance to whomever stumbles upon this
  22. "Disney's Cruella and Marvel's Black Widow will follow in the footsteps of Mulan and Raya and the Last Dragon, premiering both in theaters and on Disney+, available by paying for "premier access" on the streaming service. Cruella, starring Emma Stone as the iconic dognapping villain, will premiere May 28, while Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow will bow July 9. Meanwhile, the upcoming Pixar movie Luca is skipping the U.S. theatrical release entirely and will exclusively be available to stream on Disney+, beginning June 18. Disney also announced new release dates for several of its theatrical films: Ryan Reynolds' action-comedy Free Guy will now hit theaters Aug. 13, while the Marvel epic Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is now scheduled for Sept. 3. Release dates were also pushed back for The King's Man (now out Dec. 22), Deep Water (Jan. 14, 2022), and Death on the Nile (Feb. 11, 2022)." The movie is once again delayed for 2 months. This is the Marvel movie I anticipate the most, but the $30 additional fee with no cinematic experience is a bit steep.
