  1. Is it just me or did it seem like she had more to say at the end and was cut off?

  2. Normal people (by normal, I mean as in people who aren't famous) go out looking exactly like Britney does & no one says a thing. The world has been against her from day 1.

  3. How about we all stop picking apart her appearance? If you don't have something nice to say...

  4. I genuinely believe she is okay, she’s enjoying her time off working, knows she has so much support, progress is being made in her case, she’s in a long term relationship, Jamie is hopefully on his way out... Things are looking positive! One thing I’ll always admire about her is how strong she is and how she always remains so positive!

  5. Exactly. Britney is a regular *** person that just happens to be famous. She never cared for the getting dressed to the 9s to run errands part of fame. Folks can sit down. Just because going to Brandy Melville is a main event for you, doesn't mean it is for a woman that has walked red carpets and performed for millions.

  6. I think she is making a concerted effort to enjoy a simple life but she’s been on break for two and a half years almost. If she had all the freedoms afforded to a normal person I think things would be much different. She wouldn’t be locked in her tower. AND she’d probably be working again by now

  7. While Britney is obviously going through a lot of awful legal issues and painful struggles with her dad .... maybe her day-to-day life right now really isn’t as bad as some of us have feared? Maybe Jodi Montgomery is giving Britney more space/independence than her dad did and she’s actually getting to enjoy having a career break for a bit. I hope she really is doing OK. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Also, isn’t it amazing how so many celebrities will complain about everything in their life and desperately want pity and attention for their struggles .... Meanwhile Britney lost her basic human rights as an American citizen and she tries to publicly focus on what she has to be grateful for and tells people she has no use for pity. She’s so awesome ❤️

  8. I agree 100%. I don't think she's necessarily in danger, but she seems to have made peace with the fact that whatever kind of freedom she desires might take awhile to attain. Nevertheless, it finally looks like there's some kind of light at the end of the tunnel, and for the first time she's made her feelings publicly known: she's not happy with her father being her conservator, she refuses to perform until he's gone, and she wants more transparency about her case. She's smart enough to know that even if she wanted to, it's not a good idea to reveal intimate details about her case on her Instagram while progress is being made. I think she feels emboldened by the public's support and is actively working to improve her situation, but in the meantime, she probably figures she's got a hot boyfriend, a beautiful home, and her two beautiful children who she probably sees more than we think. For the first time in a long time, she seems optimistic that she's not stuck in limbo and positive changes are coming, and she might as well focus on the good things in her life and look forward to each new legal proceeding that brings her one step closer to living free and authentically.

  9. Something is not right...the video is cut and she keeps bouncing and looking to the side

  10. She's clearly aware of what's on her insta and she is probably fine with having a social media team like every other celebrity of her calibre. I really think at this point she's just sending off random content for her insta to be uploaded. None of it really means anything and it's just an expression of what's going on in her mind at that moment The red, the pink, the roses, the dances it might come across as "weird" but really I think it's just her doing whatever she thinks is cool in the moment Weirdness is one of the reasons I'm a Britney stan in the first place so her weird instas not an issue for me

  11. This is fascinating. Finally some real questions answered, I wonder who gave her these questions... Her addressing the refrigerator is interesting & confirms she has some say in her posts. BUT let's not pretend like that caption isn’t a mess and has nothing to do with the video. Cassie really trying to fool us, huh??

  14. first of all, when doctors evaluate hair appearance, we're talking about people that hasn't showered in long periods of time, or that they're pulling their hairs out, or some extreme situation that may hint at a strong mental disorder, depression or anything of that sorts. She doesn't look nearly as bad as that. Besides bad extensions or whatever that is, her hair looks healthy, clean and brushed. She just seems to have thrown her hair to the side In the video you can see her touching her head, as trying to cover, because she clearly wasn't planning to get caught by the paparazzi, and she's obviously aware that she's not presentable for a camera. In her videos, when she knows she'll appear in camera, her hair looks better than this. this, I mean, millionaire people like her, I think they're way past those things us poor people care about.

  15. She is probably helping with their narrative so they don’t: a) put her in hospital again b) let her see the kids more often & c) let her go out like she did today.

  16. I love this and think you broke it down perfectly. It's painful to think she's getting punished for mistakes she made in her 20s like anyone her age would have made. And then to have "daddy" come in and try to fix things The fight in her was gone and she was just going along with it until FreeBritney started and she realized people do actually care about her and her situation. That invigorated her. To be honest, I felt she grew tired of being "Britney the Pop Star" and maybe even hoped it would go away. Too bad we're a rabid fanbase lol I'm still on the fence with Sam. I want to believe he means well and he hasn't given much indication to show he's not on her side but something seems off there. I have no proof so I try to stay quiet about him and just hope for the best. Excellent point on the court docs as well. That says it all. Her IG IMO is a PR tool and they use it knowing many people take what gets posted there seriously and as coming directly from Britney. Not everyone is obsessing over details and court docs like we are, but what gets said in court is what should be taken seriously because that's probably the only time we honestly hear from Britney. If she gets in court and says she's uncomfortable with her dad and wants him gone and won't be performing until he's out, then that's what I'm going with.

  17. I get what you're saying but also keep in mind she doesn't control her IG account. No way her team would let her post a video saying, "Y'all help me!" lol the uproar that would cause. Also, she's been under this for 13 years now. There's a very real chance she's got Stockholm Syndrome by now or is just used to it. When I hear, "I'm ok" from her, I think she means "all things considered, yes I'm ok." I don't take it as "I'm ok with being in the conservatorship." Bryan even recently said she's always wanted out. I think her team has a lot of unanswered questions and putting Britney on IG to answer questions or write "assuring" captions isn't enough, but that's just me. It doesn't make sense that a woman like her was put under a conservatorship.

  18. Read my other post, she’s obviously not okay with the c-ship but she’s obviously happy about other things and progress is being made. I’m happy this c-ship doesn’t make her sad 24/7 - shows she’s able to control her emotions and have a positive mindset - another thing which shows she shouldn’t be in a c-ship as she is of sound mind and making rational decisions.

  19. I think she has a say but I don't believe she is in total control. She's definitely not the one hitting upload. I think she sends them content and maybe captions and they decide at their discretion how and when they want to post. They also probably edit her to fit whatever agenda they have. We don't have Britney on video saying she's against the documentary which I think is telling. FreeBritney for me is about her illegally being thrown into a conservatorship without at least getting the opportunity to select her own legal representation. That's an injustice right there. I won't go into all of the other alleged crimes that have happened because we don't have enough evidence to back those (although it looks extremely likely) but that point right there should raise a lot of red flags about how and why she's in a conservatorship.

  20. In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "what it feels like for a girl" Madonna releases a digital maxi single with all the club remixes including the highly sought That Chris Caligua 2001 Club Mix which was only available via A two CD promotion called GHV2 Remixed 1992-2001 The best club anthems of a decade. It's extremely rare Amazon asks for 850.00 for the set which was only available via Promo to DJS. The controversial video is also in HD, the video was banned by MTV, but oxygen played the hell out of it. Both the song and the video is seen as a #Metoo anthem. Set to the Above and Beyond Video Mix, Madonna is seen getting ready, she leaves her hotel the 9 turns to 6 and forms 666, she hotwired the car. Front side of the license say *****, the back says Cat, she picks up her real Grandmother, at the ol Kuntz guest home, they go for a drive. The events are about to be bad for some men on this night out.. She sees guys wink at her at a stoplight, she does a U Turn, they watch in horror as she crashes them into the traffic.. She stops at a bank, u see tasers go up and sparks, cuts to Madonna taking a wad of cash and they guy is passed out.. They stop at a sonic, she orders fries for herself and a soda for her grandmother, she gives the waitress 2,000 in cash, cops think somethings not right, she drives by them, points a gun at them (apparently my friend says this is why they banned it), and shoots water in their eyes. They are pissed go after her, but thx to her instant stop to a kids playing hockey, she pushes their car into the innocent bystanders (Apparently guy begged her to stop this, as he was afraid this could hurt him badly) she stops the car, throws the fries in the bin and goes to a gas station where the biggest crime is about to happen. She gasses the car up, gets her grandma out, and goes to a red Thunderbird vintage! Takes the car while it's being gassed up, a man realizes his car is being stolen, tries to stop her, But Madonna sets the area on fire by lighting a lighter and dropping it..the scenes cut out faster to Madonna at the hotel, various ids, a tattoo that went to love and then loved to beloved to the car crashing at a traffic stop post, alluding to suicide murder as it just shows that. The video and the drowned world tour imagery according to biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli was based on vengeance against men, Particularly Male Authorities and fathers which is a common theme for Madonna. He also states one has to ask her own father, how he feels that he and Josn was always painted in a negative light compared to her own mother Madonna Fortin (Madonna was named after her beloved Mother) One also has to wonder how all her brothers feel about the anger that he had towards them. older sister Paula has said. It probably would have been best if she lived with a relative that could focus just on her and gave her the attentions she needed and craved. Joan several times felt like she was walking on egg shells cos Madonna viewed as the Bish that replaced Mom. Enjoy the video

  21. it's the rocking back and forth, her glancing to the sides and the cut for me. still believe its a script, she may sound "relaxed" but to me its not 100% authentic....

  22. Soooo true. Especially due to the peak of tabloid culture in the 90s-00s, there were many people whom got their name out of their whom don't have talent even. For example, Paris Hilton was the biggest product of that era. She literally was famous for being famous. So IDK why these boomers are saying bull**** like "oH bAcK tHeN u NeEdEd tAlEnT"

  24. Yes, she can release anything and it's successful only because of her name, not because it's something wow, amazing and great. She's not that creative when it comes to her songs and music videos and for me this is the problem. She can do sooo much, she can express herself in so many different ways and... she does sh t like 34+35... disappointing as hell. There's people that would do it ten times better being on her place having that huge platform

  25. I’m kinda not mad at this thread kinda spoke no lies. She reminds of drake they can release anything whether good or bad/mediocre n it’ll still be wildly successful. I saw her live for TUN the tour sets were cute but I was very bored, yes she sings live but she doesn’t have much presence imo but apparently she does Bc those albums selling 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sooooo What do I know. Lolololol 🥴🥴🥴🥴

  26. Honestly she needs to stop wearing the extensions. Other than the damage it causes her real hair she obviously doesn’t care/know how to take care of them. If she had just her real hair, cut into a shoulder length at the longest it probably wouldn’t be so noticeable that it’s not brushed. And it’s absolutely not common for people to go out with their hair like that. Her outfit was fine, I figured she was holding the jacket closed because she looked like she was braless and maybe felt uncomfortable about it. But her messy hair is not how “normal” people go out as one poster said.

  29. The AMAS performance of Blank Space from 2014 says hello, I was at the opening night of the Iconic Reputation stadium tour, she can sing, she probably has the best interaction with the fans, the surprise song set list, there's a reason why she's already has a cultural impact. Your bias and hatred is showing sweetheart. Literally you and @Greg_del , yes I'm calling you out as well, boo. Are always the right on time to slam Taylor swift and you both never fail to surprise me, with your lame cheap shots and weak arse shade. It's pathetic and right now it's very very beyond pathetic, from you two it's more like here we go again, typical of these two. That's how funny this post is, not only sad, bias, and hateful, but it's just typical of you, and it's actually reductive at this point. End of rant.

  30. The whole Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix is iconic. The Grammy Museum performances shut mouths when they come and say she can't sing. Btw, do I notice a hate theads series. The bias in this thread is so on point.

  32. Umm what video did you guys watch? She does not look relaxed or comfortable at all. She looks extremely anxious and like there’s a person on her side telling exactly what to say and how to say it. Also the end of the video? The way it just cuts out? Sus.
    2 points
  33. I didn't feel like she was relaxed and confident here, she was a bit anxious, imo... Although that doesn't mean she was lying when she said she was fine... She is most likely as fine as possible in her situation atm. She is resilient, and has always belonged to the type of people with a positive mindset. I think this is what helped her survive all these 13 years... A weaker person could not survive even half of what she went through. And for some reason I'm glad that the red refrigerator is her post. I thought it was very funny af, lol. But I noticed a few things. A bit of a conspiracy area, I warned you, so... 1. The video is cut sharply at the end, as if she hadn't finished yet. Kinda sus. 2. She clearly chooses her words very carefully to the question whether she is ok. Obviously she cannot say much, since it will not pass the censorship. It's also interesting that in the reasons why she's happy, she didn't mention Sam or her family ... Didn't "she" recently write that JL is inspiring her, heh. They didn't even cross her mind... Only her children and home. I find it interesting. 3. I'm more than sure team con asked her to record this video, as more and more fans are starting to wonder who really controls her intagram. And it gets too dangerous for them. Also interestingly she was photographed after shopping today/yesterday and this video looks like from the same day... Maybe this was the reason they were able to persuade her to record it?

  34. It feels like she's had an almost 2007-like resurge in attention the past 2 years and, assuming she does read her socials, I can imagine that people analysing literally every move she makes, how she acts, the armchair diagnosing and constant "are you okay" comments can feel suffocating. The top ones on her Instagram are sometimes so condescending and over-speculative; I have no doubt that most come from a good place, but people treating her in an almost childlike way (especially when the conservatorship has stripped her of her legal rights) just feels uncomfortable to me. She said herself in FTR that she doesn't want to be seen as a victim and I think people easily forget her strength. But I'm glad she's addressed it again, it's good to know from her that she's enjoying her break and she's okay. That's all I can hope for.

  35. This is in no way some kind of video saying to stop the #FreeBritney movement. Just because she said she was embarrassed by how they portrayed her doesn't mean that the movement itself is embarrassing. She said she welcomed fans informed support for a reason. I think she didn't like how the doc framed her as someone who used to have so much control, now has no control. Constantly reliving scenes that you wished you could put behind you can traumatize anybody. You gotta look at it from a human's perspective. And i've said it a million times, but we don't know what we don't know. Keep up the protesting, keep up the pressure to pass legislation, and don't lose hope.

  38. This is an EXCELLENT point, and the Stockholm Syndrome theory is something I really worry about. However, I choose to believe that she's come to the realization that she doesn't need such a restrictive conservatorship. The fact that Sam called Jamie out publicly is so much bigger than people realize. The fact that Britney has filed legal pleadings indicating that she's afraid of her father and that she refuses to perform and make money for her team as long as he's in charge is HUGE. Here's my theory, and it's a novel so feel free to ignore unless you want a deep dive 2008-09: She knows she messed up and let people take advantage of her, but figures she'll come back strong with the Circus tour, focus on her work and her kids, and show her team and the public that she understands the gravity of her actions but has moved past that part of her life. There's an energy and clarity, whether it's because she's on the correct dosage of whatever medications she needs or something else, but she figures she'll work hard to show she's capable of being in control of her own life and making smart decisions. 2010-11: All her hard work is completely discarded when she learns that it meant virtually nothing and she's going to be controlled by her abusive father and money-hungry team for the rest of her life. I don't know whether she had another breakdown, whether she was so distraught that they changed her meds to make her a zombie or what, but there's a sadness in her eyes where she realizes she might as well give up and play along because this is her life now. Go back to any performance in that era, and she knows the choreography but there's no passion because she's just going through the motions. 2012-13: She thinks maybe the X factor will be an exciting new opportunity, but she's under such tight control by her team that she's become a nervous wreck and can barely function without someone telling her exactly what to do and say. 2014-18: If there was ever Stockholm syndrome it was probably here. With every new appearance, she looked better and seemed much happier, but there were always rumors about troubling incidents (like when she was doing promo for her lingerie and allegedly stripped her outfit off and acted "strangely"). However, it appeared like she made peace with her situation and just tried to make the best of it. I think she felt like she was proving she was capable of some more flexibility and it definitely showed in her general demeanor and performances. She seemed to have found a healthy work-life balance and figured as long as she saw her kids and hit her marks when needed, maybe her situation wasn't so bad. And then she was committed. Then #freebritney happened. And people paid attention and the general consensus was that what was being done to her was not right. Sam seemed to come at the perfect time - he wasn't hired by Team Con, but she had probably more freedom than ever in the cship because she was doing what they wanted with enthusiasm and fell in love with the hot guy who just thought it would be cool to be in a Britney video. For the first time, she was with a guy who had no previous connection with her team and was happy to tow the company line until she was committed and he knew something wasn't right. Do you think Jason Trawick or David Lucado or Charlie Ebersol would ever publicly go against Jamie? Never. So I think she knows the cship is messed up but finally feels like there may be a way out, or at least a way to have more control. However her Instagrams are edited is irrelevant. She's filed legal pleadings expressing that she is clearly not ok with being in the conservatorship, and any kind of contrary message she allegedly sends on her Instagram is just a red herring by her team.

  39. I don't think she's ok with it, but knows that progress is being made so she finally has an optimism she previously didn't have when she thought she was going to be trapped in a conservatorship for the rest of her life with no possibility of changes being made. She probably doesn't want to rock the boat when there have been a lot of positive developments in her case, as incremental as they may seem.
